Internet / Web Sales Rep - For our
webtechinstitute.com division
This position is for the aggressive and customer service focused
professional.
The Sales
Representative is responsible for selling custom web development solutions,
standardized web design packages, web marketing solutions, web hosting plans
and site maintenance plans primarily through inbound and outbound telesales
and premise sales techniques. The Sales Representative is responsible for
the entire web sales cycle, including lead identification, customer needs
analysis, product demos, pricing, follow up, and closing.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Identifies needs of customers and effectively presents appropriate
solutions.
Ongoing account management for current customers
Articulates technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Works with Account Executive to create project Statements of Work.
Forecasts, prospects for new leads, and successfully convert leads into
sales opportunities.
Performs outbound sales calls to customers, and potential customers.
Maintains active customer relationships, identifies future customer needs,
and presents
additional value-added solutions.
Continually expands technical knowledge and sales skills.
Facilitates relationship/communication between designer and customer as
needed.
Perform additional duties as required.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of web design process and account management
Understand Internet services, online trends, the competitive environment
and customer
expectations
Knowledge of the Internet and Domain Name System.
Functional understanding of common Internet tools, including web browsers,
website
publishing tools, and hosting-related protocols, such as FTP and POP3.
Skills/Abilities:
Highly motivated, results-driven, self-starter with a proven capacity to
set and achieve
individual goals.
Demonstrated success selling over the phone and on clients premises.
Demonstrated skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and
process in writing via
email and scoping documents.
Continually expand technical knowledge.

Ability to work well in teams.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Position Requirements:
Web, technical or print sales experience a plus
Knowledge of web design.
Functional knowledge of MS Office tools
Working Conditions:
Office/ Call Center Environment and On-Client Premise (some travel
required)
Salary:
Base plus Commission
