Senior Web Developer (Position 1)

Description: The functions of this position will be to provide Java
programming services, client and customer interaction and requirement
gathering, documentation and product evaluation. The Position will
entail support of current Entertainment and AYAKM services to free up senior
members of the existing team to work on the design and implementation of the
short term and long term video and metadata short form delivery services.
The person must be available on call 24/7 for situation that require
immediate assistance.
Qualifications: The qualifications for the position are at least 5
years in the Java development language. The person will need to have
at least one years experience in Hibernate, and 4 years experience in
Oracle. We require that the individual be well spoken and able to work
directly with the clients to deliver ongoing production support. We
want an individual who has knowledge of frameworks, both Spring and Struts.
We need the person to be familiar with working in a high volume environment
and also to be able to diagnose common SQL performance problems. The
individual should have skills in the front end of Java development, with
knowledge of JSP or Freemarker. Experience in FTP and Video
applications would be a plus.
