Webtech - Curriculum Development Specialist
WebTech Kids is a joint venture between Korrect Technology and WebTech
Institute.
We are looking for a talented Curriculum Development
Specialist to join our team. This individual will be working with our
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and interactive design team to create and
implement courses to teach our audiences (both teachers and children ages 7
– 12) how to effectively use our program.
We will be utilizing a combination of web-based training, traditional
on-site training, and conference training. This is an incredibly important
task that will assist us in our efforts to help children learn about the
world of web design while developing business, academic and character
building skills.
Plans, adapts and schedules age appropriate
curriculum involving various activities to stimulate
children’s cognitive skills, abilities and development.
Develop a consistent number of lesson plans every week.
Collaborate with SMEs to create online educational games and interactive
challenge activities
Qualifications:
* 2+ years experience developing courses in both e-Learning
and traditional classroom settings.
* In-depth knowledge of web design, graphic design and internet-related
technologies including related
protocols. This is a definite must.
* Demonstrated ability to write and edit curriculum using flawless English
grammar, syntax, and
punctuation.
* Ability to effectively extract knowledge from SMEs.
* Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop
(Elements)
* Degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field.
* Ability to communicate effectively and thrive in a team-oriented
environment.
