Program Facilitator
This position is for someone who enjoy working with elementary school
children. WebTech Kids is a joint venture between Korrect Technology and
WebTech Institute.
The
general responsibilities of the WebTech Kids Program Facilitator are to
provide intensive and extensive training services for teachers and students
at authorized WebTech Kids facilities. The facilitator, in order to assist
the student in his/her education endeavors, will utilize the resources of
the WebTech Kids curriculum and extranet. The facilitator will provide
feedback to
WebTech Institute and the administrators of
the facility, regarding the progress each student is making.
Specific duties and responsibilities are to:
1. Provide web design and academic assistance to
assigned students/facilities, either in a group or
individually as it pertains to the WebTech Kids web
design curriculum.
2. Establish liaison with the teacher/administrators and work
to establish a solid understanding and
use of the WebTech Kids curriculum and resource tools.
3. Attend periodic training provided by WebTech Institute to
increase competency in working with
students, lesson planning, and project management.
4. Develop on-going lesson plans, along with Curriculum Developer,
that incorporate themes, web design
projects, and activities that support academics,
business principles and character building.
5. Work with Executive Director to enhance curriculum (based on
observation from class visits or on-site
training).
6. Responsible for maintaining records on each student who is
being instructed, including follow-up
and periodic assessment.
7. Provide evaluations and other reports as requested by the
WebTech Institute staff.
8. Help students develop positive attitudes toward learning and
studying.
9. Help students develop self-confidence, raise self-concept,
and reduce anxiety or fear of failure in
technical and academic work.
10. Help students develop a high level of motivation in academic,
creative, business and character
building areas.
11. Assist students in achieving a better understanding of specific
lessons and activities while
improving academic capabilities in designated areas.
12. Help students develop the technical and management skills
necessary for academic success.
13. Establish and maintain rapport with the assigned student (s).
14. Serve as a role model for students being served.
15. Assist in designing and implementing interactive content with
internal design and interactive
team.
16.
Be punctual for all scheduled student training sessions. It
is your responsibility to notify us as soon
as possible if you cannot meet with your assigned
students.
17.
Program Facilitators must commit to work a
minimum of 5 hours per week and 5 days per week.
18. You must have your own transportation.
